Yugabyte raises $48 million to advance adoption of its open source SQL database based on an extensible document archiecture.
Sunnyvale, California-based SQL database developer Yugabyte secured a $48 million Series C after seeing increased traction with large enterprise customers and just nine months removed from its $30 million Series B.
The company announced a $48 million financing round to help build on that momentum. The round is an extension of the startup’s $30 million Series B last June.
