US-based May Mobility, which develops and deploys autonomous vehicle (AV) technology has snapped $105 million in Series D funding. The equity round was led by Japanese telecommunications powerhouse, NTT Group alongside new and existing financial and strategic investors, including Toyota Ventures, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company, State Farm Ventures®, BMW i Ventures, Cyrus Capital, Trucks Venture Capital and Millennium Technology Value Partners.

This latest round brings May Mobility's total funding to approximately $300 million since its founding in 2017. NTT Group now holds exclusive rights to distribute May Mobility's autonomous vehicle technology throughout Japan.
