Axiom Space signed a $125 million contract with Gravitics.
Axiom Space, a Houston-based commercial space company, announced that Allen Flynt has joined as chief officer of mission services. Flynt has over 20 years of experience at NASA and other aerospace companies managing human spaceflight programs. He will lead Axiom's operations as it expands access to the International Space Station and develops its own commercial space station.
Axiom Space successfully completed its third crewed commercial space mission to the International Space Station, returning four astronauts to Earth after 18 days in orbit. The mission, Axiom's first with an all-European crew, was financed by the home countries of the astronauts from Italy, Turkey, and Sweden. Axiom plans a fourth commercial ISS mission later this year.
