Figma, a US design service provider, banned leading Chinese drone manufacturer DJI from using its software solutions on March 12 in compliance with US laws, as reported by 36Kr. DJI is added to a ban list that also includes telecommunications giant, Huawei, and internet security company, Qihoo 360. Figma provides solutions for user interface and user experience design, both of which are important to the development of client applications. In response, Chinese alternatives MasterGo and Pixso launched an import function for Figma project files.
