In 2021, MNTN acquired Maximum Effort, the marketing agency founded by Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds continues to collaborate frequently with MNTN. In 2022 the company acquired QuickFrame, a video communications firm. MNTN has raised more than $180 million in venture capital funding from investors including Fidelity Management, BlackRock,Baroda Ventures, Greycroft Partners, Mercato Partners, Qualcomm, and Rincon Venture Partners. The company did not disclose valuation figures following a $119 million funding round in 2022.
