In February 2023, CEO Liza Landsman said that the company was "in a great position" for an IPO, though she later added that "all options are on the table for us, whether that’s private financing, whether that’s an acquisition, or whether that’s the public markets.”
Stash is a subscription-based personal finance app. The company has partnerships with Mastercard, Stride Bank, Marqeta, Mambu, and Alloy. As of February 2023, Stash has more than 2 billion subscribers and $3 billion in assets under management. The company has raised more than $450 million in venture capital funding from investors including Eldridge, NEA, Owl Ventures, Goodwater Capital, and Entree Capital. The company was valued at $1.4 billion in 2021.
