Branch Metrics was founded in 2014 by Alex Austin, Dmitri Gaskin, Mada Seghete, and Mike Molinet. While the company has not publicly discussed an IPO, the CEO expressed considerable optimism about the company's future in a February 2022 press release following their latest $300 million in funding and $4 million post-money valuation. These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.
Branch Metrics help companies measure and increase user engagement across platforms, while providing "deep linking" solutions to create seamless mobile experiences. According to a company whitepaper, "Branch is the most popular mobile linking and attribution platform among the top 200 apps," with customers that include Reddit, Buzzfeed, Foursquare, Airbnb, Yelp, and more. In 2018, Branch acquired Tune Attribution Analytics. The company has raised approximately $667 million in Venture Capital funding from investors including New Enterprise Associates, Playground Global, Founders Fund, Cowboy Ventures, C.M. Capital Advisors, and Canvas Ventures.
