6Sense was founded in 2012 by Amanda Kahlow, Dustin Chang, Jason Zintak, Premal Shah, Shane Moriah, and Viral Bajaria. Bloomberg reports that CEO Zintak said " 'There is no timetable' yet to become a public company...but that an initial public offering at some point is a possibility." These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.

6Sense provides a platform that harnesses the power of AI, machine learning, and big date to help revenue teams "identify and close more opportunities." Since 2014 the company has acquired ZenIQ.io, Fortella, Slintel, and Saleswhale. 6Sense has received more than $420 million in funding from investors including Insight Partners, MSD Partners, Tiger Global Management, Blue Owl, and D1 Capital Partners. A recent round of funding raised $200 million, contributing to a $5.2 billion post-money valuation — more than double the valuation of just one year earlier.
