Via is a transportation company providing ridesharing services to serve as an alternative to traditional transit. The company has raised over $575 million in Venture Capital funding from investors including Evolution VC Partners, Lauder Partners, Nelstone Ventures, C4 Ventures, Ervington Investments, Hearst Ventures, Planven Investments, and 83North. It has been widely reported that Via last raised $400 million in March 2020 at a post-money valuation of $2.25 billion.
