NowRx was founded in 2015 by Cary Breese. While Breese has not publicly discussed plans to participate in an IPO, NowRx hired Mark Marlow as it's first CFO in February 2022. Throughout his career, Marlow has helped guide two companies through successful IPOs. These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.

NowRx is a telehealth platform that functions as a digital pharmacy, offering same-day delivery on prescriptions and other medical services. While the company has received funding from traditional VC firms, NowRx has shifted towards a crowdfunding model in recent funding rounds. NowRx has raised $79 million, $20 million of which was raised in a fully crowdfunded round. The latest round increased the company's pre-money valuation to $275 million.
