Grab was founded in 2012 by Anthony Tan and Hooi Tan. According to Fortune, Grab was listed publicly in December 2021 and was the “largest IPO by a Southeast Asian company in U.S. history.”

Grab is a mobile application that provides rideshare, food delivery, hotel booking, event ticketing, and payment services. Per Forge data, Grab raised $16.5 billion in funding over 33 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on Dec 2, 2021. Key investors include Tiger Global Management, Vertex Ventures, GGV Capital, and SoftBank Vision Fund.
