Flutterwave IPO

Flutterwave was founded in 2016 by Iyinoluwa Aboyeji and Olugbenga Agboola. The company has expressed plans for a public listing on the Nasdaq exchange. In August 2022, CFO Oneal Bhambani told reporters that "We have the attractive market potential and opportunity to [go public] now," though the company has not gone public yet.

Flutterwave is an international payment platform based in both San Francisco and Lagos, Nigeria. The company acquired Disha in 2021. Flutterwave has raised more than $470 million in venture capital funding from investors including Tiger Global, B Capital Group, Salesforce Ventures, and Whale Rock Capital Management. The company announced a valuation of more than $3 billion in 2022, making it the highest-valued African startup at the time of the disclosure.
