Cybereason was founded in 2012 by Yonatan Striem-Amit, Lior Div, and Yossi Naar. As reported by CyberScoop in August 2019, when discussing a new round of funding, CEO Lior Div noted that “right now we have 500 people in the company, and this plan is to push to even more in order to be ready to go public.” These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.
Cybereason is a cybersecurity company providing endpoint detection services. The company has raised nearly $400 million in Venture Capital funding from investors including Softbank, Greenspring Associates, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Spark Capital, and CRV. Per company press releases, Cybereason last raised $200 million in August 2019 at a post-money valuation of $1 billion.
