Cybereason was founded in 2012 by Yonatan Striem-Amit, Lior Div, and Yossi Naar. In early 2022, Reuters reported that Cybereason had confidentially filed for an IPO that could value the company at more than $5 billion.These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.
Cybereason is a cybersecurity company providing endpoint detection services. In 2021, the company acquired empow, a cybersecurity firm based in Tel Aviv. The company has raised more than $750 million in venture capital funding, most recently during a $50 million Series F round led by Alphabet. Other investors include Softbank, Greenspring Associates, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Spark Capital, and CRV.
