Their latest funding, per Forge data, was in 2022 when the company was valued at $725 million after a Series C funding round. As of December 2023, Business Wire reported that Check launched a set of category-defining innovations. The co-founder Andrew Brown commented to Business Wire, “Our new tools represent a major shift in the evolution of embedded finance and payroll,” in response to the innovations. Check has not officially endorsed a plan to participate in an IPO.

Check is a payroll software company that helps platforms incorporate digital payroll solutions into their products. Per Forge data, the company has raised a total of $119 million in funding over 4 rounds since its founding in 2019. Key investors include Stripe and Bedrock.
