BigPanda was founded in 2012 by Assaf Resnick and Elik Eizenberg. While the company has not spoken publicly about an IPO, the company has recently attained unicorn status, with CEO Resnick said that he views BigPanda as "a long-term, very large, sustainable company." These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.
BigPanda is a leader in the field of AIOPS, or Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations, developing programs that help IT teams respond more effectively to problems and outages. A number of Fortune 500 companies use BigPanda to bolster their digital operations, including Intel, Cisco, United, Nike, Marriott, and Expedia. After years of relative quiet, the company came out in 2022 with a $190 million funding round led by Advent International, bringing its total funding to $317 million and arriving at a valuation of $1.2 billion.
