Tujia is a China-based home rental company that allows users to offer their homes to travelers as an alternative to hotels. The company is often referred to as "the Airbnb of China." Tujia has made a number of acquisitions since its founding, including of the home rental divisions of Ctrip and Qunar. The company has raised more than $550 million in venture capital funding from investors including GGV Capital, Lightspeed China Partners, Qiming Ventures, CBC Capital, and CDH Ventures. The company was valued at $1.5 billion after a $300 million fundraising round in 2017.
