Redpanda lands $100M to expand its streaming data pipelines
Redpanda Data Inc., the developer of a data platform that unifies historical and real-time data, today said it has raised $100 million in an over-subscribed Series C round that brings its total funding to $163 million.
Redpanda nabs $100M Series C as streaming service experiences significant growth
Redpanda helps companies capture data in real time in a modern context, providing a new way to stream data while maintaining backwards compatibility with Kafka, the popular open source streaming project. Today, the company announced a $100 million Series C, just 16 months after announcing a $50 million Series B. This kind of trajectory was common a couple of years ago, but seeing a company raise $150 million in such a quick succession these days has become far more rare.
