There's nothing like visiting America's national parks, but Headspace is bringing its users a little closer through a new partnership with the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. The mindfulness and meditation app is rolling out new national parks-inspired content to help transport subscribers to places like Grand Canyon and Yosemite, in their minds.
The product — available January 1 — combines Headspace’s meditation and mindfulness services with Ginger’s coaching, therapy and psychiatry services. It also gives employers insights on their employees' engagement and outcomes.
Headspace Health is acquiring Shine, a mental health and wellness app dedicated to providing an inclusive mental health experience for the BIPOC community, the company announced on Thursday. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Headspace Health says the acquisition of the New York-based company will expand its ability to provide more inclusive mental health services.
