Function of Beauty is a direct-to-consumer businesses that offers customizable hair and skin care products. While originally focused exclusively on hair care, the company expanded to include skincare with its 2021 acquisition of Atolla. Function of Beauty has raised more than $150 million in venture capital funding from investors including L Catterton, GGV Capital, and Y Combinator. The company did not disclose valuation figures after a $150 million fundraising round in 2020.
