Calm is a subscription-based meditation app. The platform was Apple's app of the year in 2017, and was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the best-led companies in America. While the company is primarily focused on general consumers, it launched a business division that offers services for enterprises and their employees. In 2022, Calm acquired Ripple Health Group, a healthtech company. Calm has raised more than $200 million in venture capital funding from investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Insight, TPG, Marc Benioff, and Goldman Sachs. A $75 million Series C round increased the company's valuation to $2 billion.
