Rover operates a platform that allows people to find pet sitters and dog walkers. The company has raised nearly $300 million in Venture Capital funding from investors including Civeta Investments, Cross Creek, First Round Capital, Greenspring Associates, T. Rowe Price, Winslow Capital Management, Spark Capital, Sutter Rock Capital, TCV, Menlo Ventures, Foundry Group, Rolling Bay Ventures, Tuesday Capital, and Madrona Venture Group. Per company press releases, Rover last raised $155 million in May 2018 at a post-money valuation of nearly $1 billion.
