Revolut IPO

Revolut, based in London, UK, is a fintech company that was founded in 2013 by Vladyslav Yatsenko, Klaus Hommels and Nikolay Storonsky, who serves as CEO. The company has created a global financial ”superapp” to help people get more from their money. In 2015, Revolut launched in the UK offering money transfer and exchange. Today, over 25 million of its retail customers around the world use dozens of innovative Revolut products including peer-to-peer payments and savings vaults. In November, the company announced that it has expanded its presence further in the United States. In addition, the company is expanding into several new markets across Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Among Revolut’s investors are Index Ventures, Balderton Capital, Ribbit Capital, Da Vinci Capital and Red Lions Capital. The company has raised $1.7 billion over 19 rounds, the latest of which was a Secondary Market round in August 2021, according to Crunchbase. The company’s last know valuation was $33 billion and has not publicly communicated an intention to IPO.
