ZocDoc was founded in 2007 by Cyrus Massoumi, Oliver Kharraz, and Nick Ganju. The company has not officially endorsed a plan to participate in an IPO.
ZocDoc is an online medical care appointment platform, allowing users to book services for free as well as see other user’s reviews on medical practices and doctors. The company has raised nearly $300 million in Venture Capital funding from investors including Atomico, Baillie Gifford, eBrands.vc, Open Field Capital, Manhattan Venture Partners, DST Global, Sutter Rock Capital, SV Angel, Vast Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and Iron Edge VC. Per company press releases, ZocDoc last raised $130 million in August 2015 at a post-money valuation of $1.8 billion.
