View The Space, or VTS, was founded in 2011 by Brandon Weber, Donald DeSantis, Karl Baum, Niall Smart, Nick Romito, and Ryan Masiello. When asked about a potential IPO in 2019, CEO Romito said "There’s no pressure to go public right now considering the size of the opportunity in front of us. We’re focused on growth and changing a very large market that hasn’t changed in a long time." These comments should not be interpreted to mean that the company is formally pursuing or foregoing an IPO.

VTS is a real estate CRE platform that includes property management solutions for services such as leasing, marketing, asset strategy, and tenant experience. Since 2019, the company has acquired Property Capsule, Rise Buildings, and Lane. VTS has raised $330 million in venture capital funding from investors including Brookfield Asset Management, Tishman Speyer, and Fifth Wall Ventures. After raising $90 million in Series D funding round, the company's value surpassed $1 billion.
