February Private Market Update
Space X was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. SpaceX has not officially endorsed a plan to participate in an IPO. According to Bloomberg in June 2024 SpaceX has not officially endorsed a plan to participate in an IPO, despite a recent boost in valuation.
SpaceX is dedicated to the mission of advancing space exploration including developing reusable spacecraft and sustaining human life on other planets. Per Forge data, SpaceX has raised a total of $9.8B in funding over 37 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on April 25, 2024. Key investors include Vika Ventures, Ventioneers, Veligera Capital, and Vanedge Capital.
