Planet42 is a South African-based company that enables people to access personal vehicles when they have been unable to finance a vehicle through traditional financing. Customers apply for a vehicle, Planet42 reviews the application and if approved, the company purchases a vehicle on behalf of the customer and rents it to the customer on a subscription basis. Customers can choose to purchase the vehicle from Planet42 at any time for the buy-out price, which gets lower every month.
