Enevate and NantG Power have formed a strategic alliance to develop next-generation battery technology. The California-based companies will contribute their proprietary cathode and anode innovations to commercialise and produce silicon-dominated battery technology in large quantities. The batteries will be designed for use in electric vehicles, scooters, drones, and fast-charging storage systems.

This growth is largely due to the increasing demand for long-lasting, safe, and high-performing batteries in electric vehicles, grid storage, and consumer electronics. Enevate Corp. has collaborated with Lightning Motorcycles to produce a motorcycle with an "extreme fast charge" battery. The Strike Carbon motorcycle can now add 135 miles of range in less than 10 minutes, a significant improvement on the typical 1-4 hour charge time for similar electric motorcycles.
