CesiumAstro Aims To Speed Up Your In-Flight Broadband With Tech From Military Radar
CesiumAstro, a Texas-based satellite antenna manufacturer, is venturing into the in-flight connectivity market with its flat-panel phased array antenna and software-defined radio combo. The company says its system is the first multi-beam phased array that can support multiple Ka-band constellations for airborne commercial and defense markets. CesiumAstro will manufacture the in-flight connectivity system end-to-end and plans to start flight demonstrations on an Airbus helicopter later this year.
