Apartment List is an apartment rental discovery platform. The company uses a brief questionnaire to match users with listings that fit their preferences and financial profile. Apartment List only collects a fee for listings that result in a transaction. Between 2013 and 2022, the company acquired Rent Advisor, Maguire & Fish, and Diffe.rent. Apartment List has raised more than $165 million in venture capital funding from investors including Tenaya Capital, Quantum Partners, Janus Henderson Investors, Canaan Partners, and Allen & Company. Apartment List was valued at $600 million following a $50 million fundraise in 2020.
