WiTricity, founded in 2007, is the developer of a wireless charging solution for electric vehicles. The charger uses a patented magnetic resonance technology inclusive of 3 components – the wall box, which houses the power supply, a charging pad that converts the energy from the power box to a magnetic field, and a vehicle receiver that is attached to the vehicle and captures the energy from the charging pad, allowing for a way to charge your electric vehicle wirelessly.
