Prophet was founded in 1992 by Scott Galloway and Ian Chaplin. Prophet is a consultancy firm focused on human-centric growth through branding, marketing, design, analytics, and innovation. Headquartered in San Francisco, the company has additional offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Prophet has acquired a number of companies, including KEYLENS, Altimeter, (r)evolution, and Play. These acquisitions expanded the company's client base to include companies such as General Motors Europe, Deutsche Postbank, Sony, and Volkswagen. Prophet has raised approximately $10 million in venture capital funding from investors such as Gladstone Capital.
