Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

The types of personal information we collect, and share depends on the products or services you receive from us. This information can include:

  • Information needed to complete your transactions with us.
  • Information about your transactions with non-affiliated third parties.

Who is providing this notice?

Forge Global, Inc., is providing this notice both for itself and on behalf of its affiliates and subsidiaries, including Forge Securities LLC, Forge Global Advisors LLC, Forge Lending LLC, and Forge Trust Co.

What we do

How does Forge protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We authorize our employees to access your personal information only when they need it to do their work, and we require companies that work for us to protect your information.

How does Forge collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • open an account, make an investment, or deposit money
  • create an online profile
  • request a distribution or pay your fees

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?

Your choices will apply to everyone on your account -unless you tell us otherwise in writing.

Definition

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Forge Global Inc.’s affiliates include other wholly owned (direct or indirect) subsidiaries of Forge Global Holdings, Inc. including but not limited to: Forge Securities LLC; Forge Global Advisors LLC; Forge Lending LLC; Forge Data LLC; and Forge Trust Co.

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Forge does not share with nonaffiliates for marketing purposes.

Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Forge does not jointly market.

Other important information

Forge’s use of your personal information is governed by this notice and the privacy policy at forgeglobal.com/privacy-policy. If there is any conflict between this notice and that policy, this notice will control.

For California residents:

We will not share information we collect about you with nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law, including, for example, with your consent or to service your account. We will limit sharing with our affiliates to the extent required by California law.

For Vermont residents:

We will not share information we collect about you with nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law, including, for example with your consent or to service your account. We will not share information about your creditworthiness with our affiliates, other than as permitted by Vermont law, unless you authorize us to make those disclosures.
