Generative design: nTopology blazing a trail through 3D printing world

nTopology's generative design application's key feature is that it requires significantly less computing power than traditional 3D design software, with file sizes potentially being 99% smaller. The software eliminates the need for extrusion, a fundamental aspect of traditional 3D design, resulting in less memory space and processing power required. Additionally, nTop integrates with all major traditional CAD design software applications.

nTopology and EOS are developing a new capability, "Implicit Interop", that can reduce 3D design file sizes by up to 99%. This technology enables the transfer of complex designs in megabyte-sized files, speeding up the manufacturing process. The new nTop Implicit File can also result in faster file generation and load time. This technology is expected to be incorporated in a future update to the 3MF industry-standard 3D printing file format.
