Kodiak Robotics is an autonomous shipping company that is developing a fleet of self-driving trucks for long-haul transportation. In late 2022, the company won a $49.9 million contract with the Department of Defense to build autonomous vehicles for military applications. Kodiak Robotics has raised more than $240 million in venture capital funding from investors including SIP Global Partners, Muirwoods Ventures, Harpoon Ventures, StepStone Group, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company did not disclose valuation figures following a $125 million Series B funding round in 2021.
